These are the rules of the Star Wars Cantina:
Rules
1) Some forums moderators, such as myself, have made a topic for rules of their own forum. These rules must be followed at all times in these forums.
2)Screen names MUST be appropriate. What you, the poster thinks is appropriate and what the moderators and adminstrators deem appropriate may be two different things. We, the mods and admins have the final say in what is ok and what is not ok, that is why we are mods and admins. We know best, most of the time.
3) Cussing will be tolerated to a certain degree. However sexually orientated words will not be. Moderators and administrators will use their judgement on these and modify the post accordingly. The violator will be given a warning. 3 warnings in a relatively short amount of time and you will be removed from the community.
4) You must be respectful to all posters, if not you will be punished accordingly.
5) All threads must be posted in the correct forum or they will be locked or moved; although we can move them, it helps if you just put them in the right place to begin with. If a thread is made and there is already a thread made for that particular topic it will be locked and/or deleted.
6) No spamming. If caught spamming you will face a permanent ban.
7) No excuses! If caught violating these Terms of Service you will be banned. On many other messageboards such as the Star Wars MB's; when people are banned the common excuse is it was my little brother. Excuses like these will not be accepted! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SCREENNAME! That is why we have that little feature at the top of every single page entitled "Log Off". Use it or Else!!!!!!
8) Basicaly, if you think that it may not be okay, you should not try it. If you think that you may have to ask, do NOT even try it.
These rules have been set by Jedi Master Jarin Kenobi, Hangoverboy, JadeSabre7777, and Alex Skywalker. Most of the moderators or administrators will give second or third chances. Although we all have the same capabilities, we may be as strict as one another. If a poster is banned, the decision to un-ban them resiedes in the mod that banned them and only that mod.
An infraction of these rules will result in the following-

First offense- Warning, given by private message. Three of these warnings in a short period of time will result in the second offense.
Second Offense- One week ban.
Third Offense- Permanent ban.
Although these will usually be followed by the mods and admins, some cases will cause for a poster to be permanently banned on their first offense.

Global Moderators- Can moderate every forum, ban members, do everthing normal moderators can.
Moderators- Moderate one forum, lock, edit, delete, sticky, and modify posts.
Signature Limits

As of Friday (August 1st, 2003), a new size limit will be put on the signatures here at the Cantina. The maxium signature file will be 500 x 200 pixels with 2 lines of text under or over the signature. The signatures will also be centered.
Any signature over this size limit will be modified by an admin or one of the moderators. There will also be coding put on the site to help secure the size limits.
This is being done so the boards remain orderly and the posts are easier to read and hopefully this will draw in new members and keep them here.
If you have any problems with this new rule, please PM a Global Moderator and administrator.
Affiliation Rules

1. All logos submitted for affiliation must be 91x31 or they will not be accepted. They must be that size because they have to fit in the logo scroller that is at the bottom of every Cantina page.
2. If our administration does accept affiliation of your site, we will check to make sure our logo appears on your site. If it doesnt, affiliation can and will be terminated.
RolePlaying Rules

Our RP forum here is the Geonosis Guild, moderated by IJediMaster. It is in his power and his power only to change the part of the rules.
These rules must be followed at all time in the all RP games.
1) If you want your RP character to have Dual-Lightsabers or a Double-Bladed Lightsaber you must ask permission from the Jedi Temple Jedi Masters,Jedi Master Jarin Kenobi or IJediMaster.
2) No controlling others characters. Example: This is NOT allowed: Jedi Master Jarin Kenobi swings his lightsaber at his attacker, easily slicing him in two.
This, however is allowed: Jedi Master Jarin Kenobi swings his lightsaber at his attacker, hoping to slice him in two.
3) Keep it clean.
4)Follow all the rules of the Star Wars Cantina Messageboards.
5) If you wish for your RP character to become a Jedi Knight or if you believe that your Padawan Learner is ready to become a Jedi Knight, you must send Jedi Master Jarin Kenobi and IJediMaster EACH a private message, so that we can determine a test for your Padawan to take.
6) Once you have trained a Jedi Padawan into Knighthood, you become a Jedi Master.
7) We are currently looking for two Jedi Knights or Jedi Masters to be on the Jedi High Council. These are yet to be determined.
