It's funny that you meantioned the double record album of the soundtrack for ep 4. I still have mine from back when it had come out, except I'm missing Record #2, so I only have the one out of the 2 record set But it's pretty badass, the front of it is just a plain star field with a faint image of Darth Vader's helmet in the background. (Actually, I think that is the back of the cover)

Yes, Vader's helmet is on the back of the album. On the inside here are 12 pictures from scenes from the movie. It is interesting to note that of all of these there are none from what's probably the most publicized scene in the movie, the trip down the Death Star trench.
I found the records in a 2nd hand/thrift shop. I know ESB and Jedi also had 2 disc record sets but I haven't found them yet. I don't know if they're hard to find or if I just haven't seen them yet.

I've had them, ever since I can remember.

Haha, gotta love when you find old, vintage star wars stuff in your house.
You're always like, "wow, I forgot I had that!"

I honestly don't know if I could go out with someone who hated SW. Disinterested? Maybe to OK, but hated?!?! It couldn't happen. It is too much of what I am.

It is too much of what I am. :-[ My girl doest really know how much I like Star Wars, she knows I like but she thinks its from a technical point of view. We were talking about careers and I told her I wanted to get into digital animation and then we started to talk about Yoda and Sebulba being digital. It was great. :)

I think living/dealing with a non-sw fanatic is a lot easier of that person is a fan/collector of something else. Understanding each others obsessions and just plain learning to live with them makes you both more understanding. My hubby isn't a big Star Wars fan but he doesn't mind it and since I let him keep his car models and Stephen King stuff around he can't say too much about my SW collections....

Yeah well my gf tries to control me.... she hates everything I love: SW, hockey... I finally got her into Ghostbusters tho. So thats a plus. She tries to pull the "you love _____ more than me." And if its one of the 3 above, "hell yes."
