In the NJO series, how do you guys feel about the Galactic Alliance that replaced the New Republic. I think it's alright, but it is a nice change to spice up the story a little. Kinda subtle if you think about it.

i'm not quite done with remnant, but i think that trying to get the former empire to join the galactic alliance is very interesting. i'm looking forward to reading about how that turns out. over the books i've read, i've come to greatly respect pellaeon because he is a reasonable man.

Yeah, I agree. And I havn't finished Remnant yet either. I'm about halfway through it, and I'm waiting to see how negotiations go with the Remnant.

Anyone read reunion yet? I want to, its suppossed to be out already, but I cant find it anywhere.
Wow only 2 books left in the series after that one, I didnt think they were ever going to end the series.
What do you think is going to happen after that?

i finished remnant a few weeks ago, but i haven't found a copy of the next one yet. they didnt even have remnant at the library yet, so i'll probably have to wait a few more months for it. in the meantime, i've been catching up on a couple insider issues that i hadnt yet had a chance to read and finishing writing the last paper i'll ever have to write!!!

I read in the Star Wars insider that they must kill of another main character to make fans realize that heroes can die. I dont see why though. Chewbacca getting killed was hard for all of us.  |

Yeah I cried when Anakin died too, he was my favourite character. Main character.. who could it be? Tahiri?
I could have sworn she was close to going AWOL and dying/going vong in Remnant.

Kill another main character to prove that the main characters can be killed off? That seems silly. Killing Anakin and Chewie should have proven that very well. If they keep killing off the main characters who is going to be left? I seriously doubt they'd do away with Luke or Leia and Han seems too obvious after his best friend and kid both went and Jacen and Jania would be just as obvious. Mara maybe?

If Mara dies its in a massive sacrifice to save Ben. I dont want to see her die, I dont mean to seem cruel but I wont be too shocked if Tahiri dies, they have been setting us up for it
