you're gonna love star by star. that was my favorite so far. i've read thru dark journey, and i can't wait till i get the next books

Every NJO book is better than the last one. The plot lines don't finish and you have to wait until the next book comes out to see what happens. This causes some real desire to get the new NJO book and read it as fast as possible, which I think makes for an enjoyable read.

yeah, i read the first 4 or 5 books in less than a month...but then it started to get kinda dull, so i didn't read any for like 2 months...but then i picked up Edge of Victory and couldn't put it down, and now i'm going to start star by star, and i'm sure that will be good too.

I haven't started NJO yet. I stopped reading the books before they started and am just getting back into them. I'm going to read Vector Prime soon, I've just gotten it from the library. I have already bought some of the books from the series, but not the Dark Tides. How important is it to read NJO in order?

Very important, considering each book occurs practically right after the previous one.

yeah, very important....NJO is one continuous series, so you pretty much gotta read them in order, or you'll be all screwed up...I read "recovery" which was the short ebook, out of order and i was confused for a bit

Star By Star was great but its not my favourite at all so far, Id compare it to Vector Prime for a reason I cannot disclose cause it would be a spoiler.

I just finished reading Traitor, and I'll just say...
Oh my god, that was an intense book....mostly philosophical, hardly any action.
so now i'm waiting for Destiny's way to come to paperback

I read a spoiler of "Star by Star" and I was so upset even though I had never read any of the books. A friend of mine told me to read Traitor, and so now I guess it is safe to say I am hooked. I just bought Vector Prime, and books 2&3, and will start reading through them all.  |

i'm sorry if we spoiled anything for you, but the series is definately worth reading. i'm up to force heretic 2, but i'm stuck cuz it's not at my local library yet and i havent found it in any used bookstores near me. and i just bought force heretic 1, so i'm not really up for paying full price for a book again so soon.

In my opinion; The NJO sucks. I have read a few of them and they are just the most dismal writing ever. The Black Fleet Crisis books were a disgrace to Star Wars. I am a bigger fan off all the others books though.
